Test Yourself on Statins (1)

You will find below a number of real life clinical questions. These are queries that have generated from patient encounters. To test yourself read the questions, jot down your answer and then link to the evidence based answer. To record your learning you may choose to complete the reflective questions below.

Step 1 Question: A patient develops painful muscles on a statin. It settles on stopping the meds. Is it worth retrying the same statin, switching to another statin, or avoiding all statins?

Step 2 Your Answer: Record what you think the answer is.
